Courtney earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Augsburg College in 2008. She then completed her master's degree in clinical psychology from Argosy University in 2012. Courtney began her career working with victims of sexual abuse. In 2010, she switched gears and completed her master's level internship providing individual and group counseling to individuals who engaged in sexual offending behavior. She is licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Since 2010, Courtney has provided individual counseling, group counseling, assessments, and treatment planning services for men and women who have engaged in and/or been accused of sexual offending behavior. She has worked in a variety of settings including community residential treatment, community outpatient treatment, and within secure facilities. Courtney has experience working with a variety of clients who are engaging in problematic sexual behaviors and/or sexual offending behaviors. She has worked with attorneys, probation departments, and the criminal justice system. In addition, Courtney has experienced testifying in court at both the state and federal level. She cares deeply about the clients and the community she serves and is passionate about her work. Courtney works hard to make all of her clients feel safe and comfortable to address their issues in a warm and empathic environment. In her spare time, Courtney enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, being outside, and shopping.
